GILMAN LEAGUES
Held at the popular Tom Bates Sports Complex, the Thursday and Friday Gilman leagues are long-running and competitive. We are adjacent to the San Francisco Bay coastline, immediately off the 80 Freeway. Weather is always breezy and cool, ideal for competitive and recreational soccer.
DETAILS
Seasons: fall, winter, spring, summer. No Thurs. soccer in winter.
Day of week: Thursdays and Fridays (2 separate leagues).
Game format: 8v8, half-field, 50-minutes (two 25-min. halves).
Start times: 9pm & 10pm. Last game ends 11pm.
Ages: 18+
Awards for champions: team trophy and individual medals for each player
Game Schedule: Available approx. 1 week prior to start date at top of this page at “Schedule & Standings.”
Rules: Coed = Men + Women. Minimum 3 females on the field. No slide-tackles.
Men’s - slide-tackles allowed. Modified FIFA rules (complete rules available at top of this page at “Rules & Forms”).
Free agents: must be assigned to a team prior to playing. More info available at top of this page at “League Info” >> “Free Agents.”
