ALBANY CO-ED 8v8 LEAGUE
The Saturday Albany Coed 8v8 Soccer League is one of BAASL’s most tightly-knit soccer communities. Enjoy a beautiful day of soccer with morning and afternoon games. Albany Cougar Turf Field is easily accessible by BART, a few minutes’ walk from El Cerrito Plaza BART station. The weather is nearly perfect year-round and players enjoy the welcoming atmosphere built by teams that have played together since 2013.

Seasons: fall, winter, spring, summer
Day of week: Saturdays
Game format: 8v8, half-field, 70-mins. (two 35-min. halves).
Start times: Vary, but usually in the mornings and afternoons
Roster: Up to 15 players allowed.
Ages: 18+
Awards for champions: team trophy and individual medals for each player
Game Schedule: Available approx. 1 week prior to start date at top of this page at “Schedule & Standings.”
Rules: Slide-tackles not allowed. Modified FIFA rules (complete rules available at top of this page at “Rules & Forms”).
